Jeanne was born in San Jose, California. She had a career as a botanist and while in Hawaii, she enjoyed fishing and contract bridge. She was a record-setting angler. Her remains were distributed to the sea during a fishing memorial with close friends and relatives. She played bridge at the Hilo bridge club with partner Rich Robbins and often came to Kona with Rich for bridge at the Kona Bridge Club Bridge Building. She is survived by her companion, by her two daughters, by five grandchildren and by three great grandchildren.
