I. BIDDING BOXES

A. Skip Bid procedure

1. When bidding orally by saying, "I am about to make a skip bid. Please Wait!"

2. When using bidding boxes, place the stop card so the left hand opponent sees it. The skip bid card is then placed on the table. The stop card is then replaced in the bidding box. The skip bid warning is made for the left hand opponent to wait a proper time prior to making a call. The warning should be used all the time.

3. The left hand opponent following the skip bidder must wait for a suitable interval (about 10 seconds)
